Refund policy
Everything we sell is printed to order, but that does not take away any of your rights. You still get the full 14-day cooling-off period under EU and Irish consumer law, and you still get a free replacement if something arrives wrong.
Your 14-day right to change your mind
You have 14 days from the day you (or someone you nominate) receive your order to cancel it, for any reason at all. You do not have to explain why. If your order arrives in more than one parcel, the 14 days run from the day the last item arrives.
Our products are made to order, but they are not personalised: you choose a size and a colour from a fixed catalogue, and the artwork is our own. That means the "custom-made or personalised goods" exception does not apply here, and your right to cancel stands.
How to cancel
Email romanowskispider@gmail.com with your order number and tell us you are cancelling. Any clear statement is enough — you can write your own, or copy this:

We will acknowledge your cancellation by email as soon as we receive it.
Sending the items back
Once you have told us you are cancelling, send the items back within 14 days. You pay the cost of return postage. We recommend a tracked service, because until the parcel reaches us you are responsible for it.
You are welcome to try something on the way you would in a shop. If items come back visibly worn, washed or damaged beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.
Your refund
We refund you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, using the same payment method you paid with. You will not be charged anything for the refund itself.
Your refund includes what you paid for the item and the standard delivery cost of the original order. If you chose a faster delivery option, we refund the standard rate, not the upgrade. If you cancel only part of an order, the delivery cost is not refunded.
We may hold the refund until the items reach us, or until you show us proof of postage — whichever happens first.
If something is faulty, damaged or misprinted
This is separate from cancelling, and it is on us. If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, the wrong item, or with a manufacturing fault, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem and the shipping label. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, at no cost to you. In most cases you will not need to send anything back.
None of this limits your statutory rights. Under EU and Irish law, goods must be as described and of satisfactory quality, and you have legal remedies for up to two years from delivery if they are not.
A few things we cannot refund
- Wrong size. Sizing is on each product page — please check it before ordering. If you do order the wrong size, you are still covered by the 14-day cancellation right above.
- An address typed incorrectly. If a parcel goes astray because the delivery address was wrong or incomplete, we cannot refund it. Email us the moment you spot a mistake and we will change it if the order has not gone to print.
- Candles that have been burned, and stickers that have been applied — these can no longer be resold, though the fault and damage cover above still applies.
If you are not happy
Email us first — most things are quick to sort out. If we cannot resolve it between us, consumers in Ireland can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, and consumers elsewhere in the EU can contact the European Consumer Centre in their country. (The EU's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.)
